What you are agreeing to when you pay us.
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms apply to everything bought on finwisor.org, which today means the Finwisor Review and the Finwisor Deep Dive. Paying for either is acceptance of them. They are written to be read, so if a clause is unclear, ask us before you pay rather than after.

Who you are dealing with
Your engagement is with Jay Shah, sole proprietor, trading as Finwisor Wealth Management and registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser under INA000022127.
Finwisor also has a separate distribution business, which is a different entity and a different relationship. It is not party to these terms and nothing you buy here is sold by it.
What we provide
Investment advice, for a fee that you pay us and nobody else. In practice that means we read the holdings you send, assess them against a stated framework, and tell you what we find, in writing or on a call depending on which engagement you have bought. What each one includes is set out on its own page and that description is part of these terms.
Every analysis is reviewed and approved by a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser before it reaches you. No output is issued to a client unreviewed.
What we do not do
- We do not execute transactions, and we never hold your money or your securities. Anything you decide to act on, you act on yourself, through your own broker, platform or distributor.
- We do not earn commission, brokerage or any payment from a product manufacturer on the advice given here. The fee you pay is our only income from this engagement.
- We do not guarantee returns, and no part of our advice may be read as an assurance of performance.
- We do not provide legal, accounting or tax opinions. Where we raise a tax or succession point, it is context for a conversation with your own professional, not a substitute for one.
- We do not ask for, and you should never send us, passwords, one-time passcodes, broker credentials or net-banking logins. Send the statement, never the way into the account.
Advice, not distribution
Under SEBI’s Investment Adviser Regulations a client may hold an advisory relationship with us or a distribution relationship with the Finwisor distribution entity, never both at the same time for the same person. That is a regulatory separation, not a commercial preference, and we will tell you plainly if what you are asking for sits on the other side of it.
The distribution offering is described at finwisor.com, under a different entity.
Fees and payment
Fees are shown on each engagement’s own page, in Indian rupees, and are charged once. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. The amount charged is decided on our server from the engagement you chose, never from anything your browser sends, so the price you read is the price you pay.
Payment is taken through Razorpay. Your card, UPI or net-banking details are entered on Razorpay’s own secure window and never reach us. An engagement begins once the payment is confirmed to us by the gateway, not when the browser says so.
Cancellations and refunds are set out separately, on the Cancellations and Refunds page, and form part of these terms.
What we need from you
The quality of the advice depends entirely on the completeness of what you send. You confirm that the statements and information you give us are accurate, are yours or are shared with the authority of the person they belong to, and that you will tell us if something material changes while the engagement is open.
Where a figure cannot be established from what you have sent, we say so and leave it unknown. We do not estimate a number and present it as yours.
Risk
Investments carry market, credit, liquidity, currency and jurisdiction risk. Past performance does not indicate future results, and any projection, allocation or scenario we show is illustrative rather than a forecast. You remain responsible for your own decisions, including the decision not to act.
Read the official offer documents of anything you hold or intend to hold. Our advice does not replace them.
Liability
We are liable for advice given negligently or in breach of our obligations as a registered investment adviser, and nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.
Beyond that, our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fee you paid for it. We are not liable for market losses, for decisions you take on your own or on someone else’s advice, or for consequences of information you did not give us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, without prejudice to the SEBI complaint and dispute resolution routes described below, which are open to you first and cost you nothing.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your engagement is the one published on the day you paid, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. A change is never applied backwards to an engagement already under way.
If something goes wrong
Write to Jay Shah at hi@finwisor.com or call +91 94094 00480. We aim to resolve complaints ourselves and to tell you where yours has got to rather than leaving you to ask.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can escalate to SEBI on SCORES, and after that to SEBI’s online dispute resolution portal, SMART ODR. Quote INA000022127, the registration this practice is held under.
These pages sit alongside one another: Terms, Privacy and Cancellations & Refunds.
